Thank you so much to the legend that is Archie Macpherson for making my job at Tidelines Book Festival easy and enjoyable last night. Archie captivated the audience with his erudite, poignant and incredibly funny and emotional stories, and we even ran over time a little as it was just too good to stop (with the blessing of Julie the Tidelines boss!). Archie has a phenomenal legacy, 12 books and a wonderful career as the voice and face of football, and many other sports of course. The queue in Waterstones after the event for photos and book signings is testament to that. And there’s more to come from the gentleman of Scottish football!
Thanks also to the wonderful Tidelines team for welcoming me back again this year, and for being such considerate hosts. And for taking great pictures too! The festival is underway and there are loads of amazing events coming up so please do check out the upcoming sessions, there’s something for everyone.
